1920s French walnut carved-wood panel of part of the Frieze of the Parthenon. It shows the procession of the Panathenaic festival, the commemoration of the birthday of the Goddess Athena. The piece is mounted on a Lucite panel and framed with two contemporary moldings, one which is covered in leather and the other is hand-stained with walnut finish.
